Sr. Business Analyst

Workstate is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives. The proper candidate will quickly integrate with a team of leaders (VP+) within marketing and IT, to help deliver strong technical requirements documentation.

The following is a full-time position and the initial role will be in Los Angeles as part of a client project.


- Elicit business requirements, document user journeys and user stories

- Work with the business to understand and prioritize its needs

- Design, document, and maintain system processes

- Work with the business and project team to prioritize analysis work


Bachelors degree in IT, MIS, or comparable discipline

-Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing in an agile environment; understand what makes a good user story

-Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools

-Strong written and verbal communication skills; including technical writing skills

-Experience in public websites, Web Content Management solutions, and digital marketing is highly desired.

-Experience working with executive layers of an organization is highly desired.


Workstate typically has between 12 and 14 paid holiday days per year including most recognized federal holidays as well as the entire week between Christmas and New Year.
