Lead Informatica Developer

Description

The Developer will collaborate with team members to design, develop, test, document and implement data integration, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions in a hybrid cloud environment. This role requires a strong understanding of data architecture, data integration, data management processes and an ability to mentor/coach team members with varying levels of experience.

Major Duties

30% Design, plan and lead the technical implementation of data integration solutions and projects

30% Design, develop, test, document, and optimize data integration and data quality processes for the data warehouse, operational data stores, and other systems

20% Establish development standards and best practices for data integration solutions and lead code review sessions to ensure standards are being implemented

20% Provide technical mentoring/coaching for team members

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in computer-related field, with 10 or more years of relevant job experience

· 5+ years of ETL design and development experience including in-depth knowledge and experience as a data integration architect, developer, or administrator of a data integration tool

· 5+ years of hands-on experience working with relational database management system platforms including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, or similar

· Experience designing and developing data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle GoldenGate

· Experience working with data replication and change data capture technologies

· Experience profiling source data to determine how to combine data, clean data and conform data

· Strong SQL development and tuning skills

· Experience developing data warehouse and analytics solutions using AWS services including Amazon Redshift, Amazon Aurora, Amazon EMR and Amazon Kinesis

· Experience developing data integration solutions using synchronous and asynchronous messaging, publish/subscribe models, microservices, and ETL/ELT patterns

· Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling

· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously

· Passion for self-directed learning and an ability to teach others

· Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences

· Ability to work independently, with limited supervision, and to collaborate effectively with a broad range of business and IT team members

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Experience working in a fast-paced agile development environment

Experience developing enterprise warehouse solutions using the Data Vault 2.0 methodology is highly desired

· Apache Spark and NoSQL development experience
